Get a quick meal nearby! Gourmet spots unique to Haneda
If you are traveling to Haneda Airport by train, you can take the Keikyu Airport Line or the Tokyo Monorail Haneda Airport Line, which are directly connected to the airport. First, let's pick out some gourmet spots near Haneda Airport. Some are directly connected to the station or just a short walk away, so they are easy to stop by for a quick break or lunch.
Blue Corner UC Store: Runway view that will delight plane fans
Let's introduce them in order of the stations closest to Haneda Airport. First, there is Blue Corner UC, which is located just one minute by monorail from Haneda Airport, right next to Shinseibijo Station on the airport grounds. This restaurant is frequented by airport staff, but is also open to the public.

The best thing about this restaurant is that you can dine while looking out at the runway.
From the large windows of the restaurant, you can see planes coming and going all day long. During the day, you can watch planes taking off one after another, and at night, you can enjoy a romantic night view lit up by approach lights and other lights.

The menu is extensive, with a rich selection of set meals such as the "melt-in-your-mouth braised pork belly set meal" available during lunchtime.

During cafe time, they offer a daily cake set where you can choose from 3 to 5 types of cakes. The pancakes are decorated with airplanes, giving it an airport feel.

They also have snacks for dinner time, so it's also recommended to stop by for a quick drink. The yakisoba, available only at night, is the most popular menu item. The rich sauce goes well with beer.

Why not enjoy a meal in a restaurant with a spectacular view that makes you feel like you're up close watching the planes?

Enjoy the specialties of being near the airport. "Haneda Pudding Book Cafe Hazuki" - a place to relax and enjoy cafe time

If you want to take a break before or after your flight, we recommend Book Cafe Hazuki, located in front of Anamori Inari Station on the Keikyu Line and which opened as a restaurant and bookstore in 1953. You can enjoy your meal surrounded by many books, and they also have a specialty menu with a Haneda Airport motif.
The shelves are lined with a wide variety of books, including literary works, practical books, manga, and photo books that have been collected by three generations since the store was founded. Must-sees include the picture book series depicting the history of Haneda Airport and Anamori Inari Shrine, and a photo collection of Haneda Airport that was taken by a personal photographer over several decades.
Another menu item with a Haneda Airport motif that catches your eye is the "Haneda Pudding," which is carefully handmade using selected ingredients. It uses eggs with a deep richness and no odor, and the bittersweet caramel sauce is, needless to say, an excellent combination. There are up to 20 kinds of puddings, including seasonal ones, and the names, such as the firm "Ozora" that allows you to enjoy the traditional taste, and the rich and smooth "Daichi," are unique to a cafe located near Haneda Airport.
Not only can you eat in, but you can also order take-out, making it a perfect souvenir.
They also serve set meals, so you can come here for lunch, or you can read a book while eating pudding. It's a comfortable space perfect for those who want to relax.

Next, we have selected sightseeing spots that can be accessed from the airport without transfers and within 30 minutes, including on foot. There are also places where you can spend a long time before or after your flight, so please use this as a reference.
You can also get a limited edition goshuin stamp! "Haneda Shrine"

Near Haneda Airport, there are not only restaurants and commercial facilities, but also power spots. Haneda Shrine, about a 10-minute walk from Otorii Station on the Keikyu Line, is a shrine beloved by airplane enthusiasts. It was founded in the Kamakura period and has been loved by locals for a long time.

Haneda Shrine is the guardian deity for the entire Haneda area, including the airport area, and since the airport opened in 1931, many aviation professionals and travelers have come to pray for safe flights.

If you visit here, you will also find offerings that are unique to Haneda Shrine.
One of them is a goshuin stamp book made in collaboration with JAL, a special edition made by artisans one by one by hand using the Kyo-Yuzen hand-printing technique. It features a design of the main hall of Haneda Shrine, which is characterized by its vermilion paintwork and green roof, and an airplane that can be seen from the shrine in the sky above.

This goshuincho can be purchased at the shrine office or at JAL Shopping. You can also get a JAL collaboration goshuincho at Anamori Inari Shrine, which is located close to Anamori Inari Station and within walking distance of Haneda Shrine, so we recommend visiting both shrines as a set to pray for a safe journey.

The only rooftop Ferris wheel in Tokyo, "Yamato Kamataen" retains the atmosphere of the Showa era

It's a 10-minute train ride from Haneda Airport. From Keikyu Kamata Station, which is also a popular transfer station, it's another 10-15 minute walk to Tokyu Plaza Kamata, which is directly connected to JR Tokyu Kamata Station.

You can kill time by shopping or eating, but we recommend the rooftop amusement park that has been in operation for over 50 years. This amusement park, called "Yamato Kamataen," has the only rooftop Ferris wheel still standing in Tokyo, and is a beloved landmark of Kamata.

This Ferris wheel was installed in 1968 and was at one point in danger of being closed, but due to voices from local residents who wanted it to remain, it was given a new color scheme and was renovated in 2014.
This Ferris wheel, where old and new coexist, is about 10 meters tall, but because it's on the roof of a building, it offers an outstanding view. If the weather is good, you can even see Mt. Fuji.

In addition to the Ferris wheel, there are a variety of play equipment for children, so it looks like a fun place for the whole family.
Kamata is also known as a gourmet town with many restaurants. It is especially famous for its fried dumplings, so if you visit Kamata, it might be a good idea to try some of the famous dumpling restaurants.
