The arrival lobby of Haneda Airport's Terminal 3, which opened in 2010 as an international terminal, is now filled with inbound tourists just like in the past. Once you pass through the passageway that leads directly to the arrival lobby on the second floor, you'll find yourself in an atrium-like space that resembles a shopping mall. This is the Grand Foyer of Haneda Airport Garden. It's a large complex packed with restaurants and souvenir shops, as well as a hotel and event hall.

The promenade-like "Japan Promenade" is lined with traditional crafts and other exhibits.
This day was the pre-opening day before the opening. The approach from the terminal gives the impression of a promenade. As you walk along the spacious corridor, you will see rows of tenants lined up.

The first place that greets visitors is the Japan Promenade. This area is home to a selection of items from all over Japan that evoke the good old days of Japanese culture. A total of 15 stores line the streets, all decorated with traditional Japanese colored noren curtains.

For example, at "Fukui Western Umbrellas," you can buy handmade umbrellas that make use of local industries such as textiles. These lightweight, sturdy, and beautiful umbrellas would make great souvenirs to take home with you overseas.

While there are beautiful crafts on display that will make you stop and look at them, there are also restaurants where you can eat in. Kinkume, run by the long-established seafood wholesaler Okume, which was founded in 1871, offers a wide variety of seafood set meals. They use specially selected dashi stock.
Find unique Japanese souvenirs at the "Haneda Approach" lined with torii gates
Now, if you walk along the connecting corridor, you will enter an area that looks like a shopping mall.

The first thing you'll see is Haneda Sando, an arcade with 17 stores where you can find Japanese-style souvenirs and miscellaneous goods that are perfect for overseas visitors.

For miscellaneous goods, head to Rokkakukan Sakurado, a makeup brush specialty store that has been in business for over 90 years. They stock "Sakura Brushes," makeup brushes born from the combination of Kyoto culture and Kumano techniques.

In addition to things that give you a sense of "Japaneseness," there are also spots where you can find character goods and miscellaneous goods that are unique to Japan.
"Haneda Collection" - everything you need for your trip

Opposite Haneda-sando is Haneda Collection, which has all the items you'll want to take on your trip. The ceiling, which is said to resemble a starry sky, has a different feel to Haneda-sando. If you need bags, travel tools, cosmetics, or anything else, why not buy them here before you leave?

One brand to look out for is Anker, which has a high reputation for its USB batteries and charging devices. Anker offers fully charged charging items that are compatible with the voltage of each country. They also have affordable yet high-quality Bluetooth earphones and other items that will make your time on the plane more comfortable.
A wide variety of restaurants, from food courts to authentic Edomae sushi

There are plenty of restaurants, especially on the spacious first floor. If you have limited time to eat, such as before a flight, be sure to head to Oedo Food Hall. On this day before the official opening, each store will have a tasting menu available.

This food court has approximately 230 seats and serves seafood, ramen, soba noodles, steaks, and other dishes made with a wide variety of Edomae ingredients.

Of course, there are also many options for those who want to enjoy a leisurely meal. Many people choose sushi as a standard menu before traveling or going on a business trip abroad. At Tsukiji Sushiyoshi Takumi, you can casually and reasonably enjoy nigiri and chirashi.

The strikingly impressive "Curry is Japan's National Food" is a new business venture by Go Go Curry, the chain that started the Kanazawa curry boom.

You can also enjoy Indian and Pakistani cuisine at Siddique's curry. Halal food is also available, so guests from overseas can dine with peace of mind.

"This is a new feather." Please come to the airport in good time.
"Until now, most people have used airports just to arrive at the last minute and do a little shopping. But Haneda Airport Garden has restaurants, hot springs, and even a hotel. We aimed to create a facility that would make people think, 'It might be ok to come a little early.'"

These are the words of Takayuki Murata, General Manager of the Haneda Division at Sumitomo Realty & Development. "This is a new wing," is the motto of Haneda Airport Garden, which is now in full operation, and it has many things to see and many ways to use it. It would be a waste to just stop by before an overseas trip or business trip. Why not make it your destination and visit here?
