Iwate Prefecture recommender

JAL Hometown Support Team Iwate Prefecture Representative Komi
I was born and raised in Iwate Prefecture, an area rich in natural beauty, and from a young age I learned about interpersonal connections through intercultural exchange and studying abroad, which led me to aim to become a flight attendant.
Now I'm happy to be able to use my experience as a flight attendant to get involved with my hometown.
The Charm of Iwate Prefecture
Iwate Prefecture is a vast, fertile land with much untouched nature.
Iwate is a vast mountain range that stretches out from the center of the southern Fuji, Mt. Fuji. The coastal areas are blessed with beautiful scenery created by the ria coastline and are blessed with the bounty of the mountains and the sea. There are hot spring resorts all over the prefecture, where you can soothe your daily fatigue. We call Iwate Prefecture, where history and culture, represented by Hiraizumi culture, remain strong and coexist with nature, "Ihatov," an "utopia."
The local souvenirs chosen by the Iwate Prefecture Hometown Support Team are...
"Chibimaru Mamegoro"

Price: 648 yen for a box of 14 pieces / Seller: Nanbu Senbei-no Iwateya

Nanbu Senbei Iwateya's most popular product is the Nanbu Senbei Mamegoro, a small bite-sized rice cracker made with peanuts.
Made with 50% Iwate Prefecture wheat and 100% domestic butter, these small cookies have a rich taste. The roasted peanuts inside the nostalgic butter-flavored dough add a fragrant aroma, making them a popular item with all generations.
Because they are small, they make a great souvenir to give to colleagues or friends, and they are delicious with tea, coffee, black tea, or milk.
Available for purchase at Nanbu Senbei-no Iwateya Main Store (Ninohe City)
