Konami's "I want to go again!" That place

I want to go back to Turkey!
When he visited Turkey for the first time in 2022, he became completely captivated by the place.

I went to Türkiye for work and fell in love with the exotic atmosphere!
As it was his first trip abroad since the COVID-19 pandemic, he was overwhelmed by the townscapes and scenery that came from a completely different culture.

Editorial Department: Turkey is a large country, but what part of it made the biggest impression on you?

Cappadocia was the best. I stayed in a cave hotel for three nights, and it was fun to sleep and wake up in a completely different space than usual, and it was surprisingly comfortable. The weather was great every day, and I got to see the amazing view of lots of hot air balloons flying!

Cappadocia receives little rainfall throughout the year, and the best season is said to be between May and September, when the winds are particularly calm. Konami's visit to Turkey came at just the right time.
Although public safety is a concern, from his own experience he felt that Turkey is a safe country and that as long as you are careful about things like rip-offs and going out at night, you can have a safe time there.

I was able to experience the local culture by staying at the home of a Turkish colleague. Prices weren't that high at the time, so I was very satisfied with my time there.

Turkey, which straddles Eastern Europe and Western Asia, is known as a crossroads of cultures, a country with historically interesting scenery and culture, and as a pro-Japanese country.
If you're going there, you'll want to plan a trip that allows you to fully experience Turkish culture.

Editorial Department: What would you like to do next time in Türkiye?

Next time, I want to go to Cappadocia again with friends!
Last time, he was at work so he had a lot of time alone.
He says he wants to spend his free time sharing his emotions with close friends and taking videos to his heart's content.
Konami will also share some of the charms of Türkiye that he has seen!
Q&A about Konami's travels
Konami's impressive travel posts are sure to catch your eye, so let's get a glimpse into his true self! We asked him a variety of questions in a Q&A format.
Q. What first got you interested in traveling?
A. Living in Okinawa as a yoga instructor

In my second year as a yoga instructor, I was sent on a long-term business trip to Okinawa Prefecture.
After work, I would watch Okinawa's beautiful sunsets or go to the beach...this kind of lifestyle quickly became normal for me, and I realized that traveling could become a way of life.

Q.What does social media mean to you, Konami?
A. A tool to do good things for others

The basic attitude towards SNS is to do what you want without forcing yourself.
However, as more people started to see my posts, my awareness changed and I started to feel that I needed to take responsibility for what I said. Since then, I've started to think about using my posts in ways that are good for others.
Q: Where would you like to go in the future?
A: Morocco!

The other day, I had plans to go there for work, but unfortunately the destination was changed.
Marrakech, desert tour, Riad, Chefchaouen, Fez. I've already done all the research, so all I have to do is go (lol). I want to stay for 2-3 weeks and go around all the places I'm interested in!
Q. Finally, what does "travel" mean to you, Konami?
A. Something that helps me grow

Whenever I travel, I realize that "the way things have always been" no longer works. I feel that through small opportunities, I can broaden my rigid thinking and perspective.
It can also be an opportunity to think about what it means to be yourself, and one of the joys of traveling is getting a glimpse of a new side of yourself!
Konami actively absorbs the culture of the places she visits.
Perhaps it is the way he conveys the charms of each region through his own filter that attracts so many people.
Traveler's friends
Konami introduced us to travel blogger Yuco (Instagram: yuco_ushi).

As she and Yuco began following each other on Instagram, they felt a sense of sympathy and felt that they could do something interesting if they combined their strengths.
Konami's words, "She is a very mobile person who is good at both photography and writing," convey her respect for Yuco.
They have many mutual acquaintances and keep an eye on Yuco's activities. What kind of travel stories will she tell us? Look forward to it!
