JAL Hometown Support Team Oita Prefecture Representative Oishi
I'm originally from Tokyo, but I spent four years as a university student in Oita Prefecture, so it's my second hometown. I joined the Hometown Support Team because I wanted to give back to Oita Prefecture.
While I was living there, I would go to various hot springs with friends, and even now that I've returned to Tokyo, I frequently visit hot springs and saunas as a hobby.
The Charm of Oita Prefecture
First of all, there are hot springs! There are a variety of hot springs, including those that are good for your health and skin, and those with beautiful scenery, so be sure to find your favorite hot spring when you visit.
Oita Prefecture, rich in nature with mountains and sea, is also rich in delicious ingredients. From the nationally famous kabosu, Seki mackerel, and Seki horse mackerel, to the delicious hell steaming that uses hot springs unique to Oita Prefecture,
The local souvenirs chosen by the Oita Prefecture Hometown Support Team are...
"Hell Steamed® Pudding"

Price: 324 yen per piece / Sold by: Myoban Onsen Okamotoya Shop

I always buy this when I visit Oita Prefecture! Each one is handmade by a craftsman. It contains bitter caramel and is not too sweet. It is steamed in the steam from the hot springs, so it has a faint hot spring aroma and is a flavorful pudding.
Why not treat yourself to a treat after a hard day's work after your evening bath?
Available for purchase at Myoban Onsen Okamotoya Shop (Beppu City, Oita Prefecture)
