湧水庭園 四明荘 （ユウスイテイエン シメイソウ）
明治後期に開業医師の別邸として建築され、四方の眺望に優れていることから「四明荘」と名付けられました。
１日約1,000トンの湧水量を誇る池には色とりどりの鯉が泳ぎ、庭内には赤松や楓など様々な植栽が施されています。座敷の正面と左側面の二方が池へ張り出して縁を廻しており、一段高い屋敷から庭園を見下ろすと座敷と庭園が一体となって、独特の美しい景観をなしています。

アクセス：島原鉄道「島原駅」から徒歩15分
