The prefecture has many spots rich in nature that can be enjoyed throughout the four seasons, such as Shirarahama Beach, with its white sand and blue sea, Mount Koya, where you can feel the power of nature, and the Kumano Sanzan!
Another attraction is the opportunity to spend a relaxing and luxurious time in famous hot springs, such as Shirahama Onsen, one of Japan's three oldest hot springs, and Ryujin Onsen, one of Japan's three most beautiful hot springs.

"Kishuu Specialty Confectionery Kagero"

This is a famous confectionery representing Wakayama Prefecture, characterized by a crispy outside and fluffy inside. The moderate sweetness and texture of the soft cream are addictive, and the simple flavor can be enjoyed by both children and adults, making it the perfect souvenir or gift.
At "Kagerou Café" in Shirahama Town, they sell "Nama Kagerou" (refrigerated), a type of fresh cream sandwiched between two pieces of bread, which can only be tasted here and is only sold at their main store. Eating nama kagerou while taking in the beautiful scenery of Shirahama is a delicious experience.
