Hyogo Prefecture recommender
JAL Hometown Support Team Hyogo Prefecture Representative Matsubara
I have relatives living in various parts of Hyogo Prefecture, and I have visited the prefecture frequently since I was a child. I wanted to live in a place that holds so many memories for me, so I even lived alone in Hyogo Prefecture while commuting to college.
My hobby is watching sports, and I often went to Koshien Stadium to watch games. As a cheerleader, I would like to tell everyone about the little-known charms of Hyogo.
The Charm of Hyogo Prefecture
Did you know that Hyogo Prefecture is said to be "a miniature version of Japan"?
It is divided into five areas - Settsu, Harima, Tajima, Tamba, and Awaji - and is so named due to its diverse climate and environment, ranging from urban areas to hot springs and places rich in nature.
Each region has its own unique scenery, experiences, and food that can only be enjoyed in each season. Discover your favorite area!
The local souvenirs chosen by the Hyogo Prefecture Hometown Support Team are...
"All-Star Game"
This is one of the most popular items from a Japanese sweets shop that has been loved by locals for a long time. The crispy wafers and the homemade smooth bean paste made with sesame and chestnuts go perfectly together. Why not enjoy it as you take a break?
The Koshien-themed white ball design is not only delicious but also visually appealing. It makes a great souvenir, and also a great gift for children who want to play at Koshien in the future.
Additionally, the Shiratama Shiruko, which is available for a limited time only from late March, is also delicious.
Available for purchase at Kikyodo (Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture)
