What makes this beach special is that it is located between Niigata Airport and Niigata Nishi Port. It is a rare spot where you can watch ships and planes take off and land while swimming in the sea.

Especially on clear summer evenings, the sight of planes taking off against the backdrop of a bright red sun is a spectacular sight.
