I love souvenirs! I do a lot of shopping when I travel.

One of the joys of traveling is eating local cuisine, alcohol, and other local products!

Although the pair often go on business trips together, it is rare for them to be the main focus, so they put all their energy into their preparations. They even enthusiastically decided on a theme for their trip.

Travel theme: "Face yourself"

He said he wanted to take a moment to think about his future. He will spend three days and two nights receiving the energy of nature and being encouraged by delicious food.

It's a collaborative project that allows you to enjoy going back and forth between the two media.

This project was made possible through a collaboration with the tourist navigation app "Okinawa Compass." The editorial staff of both media outlets split into two groups, each enjoying Okinawa for three days and two nights. On the second night only, they met up in Chatan and had dinner together.

In this article, we will introduce the experience of OnTrip JAL editorial team's trip in an experience report. The trip of the "Okinawa Compass" editorial team will be broadcast on "Okinawa Compass" as a counter program.

<The journey begins with preparation> Use apps wisely when traveling to Okinawa

Your travel companion is the tourist navigation app "Okinawa Compass." By making full use of functions such as information gathering, favorite registration, and route search, you can easily create a "travel guide."

Step 1. Collect information and pick out spots that interest you

Each of them researched the spots they wanted to go to in advance and added them to their "favorites."

For example, if you search for gourmet spots, select the "Gourmet" category and the list will be arranged in order of recommendations to you. Furthermore, you can narrow down your search by subcategories unique to Okinawa, such as "Okinawa soba," "Okinawa court cuisine," and "folk song bar," as well as by area.

You can search specifically, so you can quickly find information that matches your image!

Step 2. Share information about spots you're interested in and narrow down your search

You can share the spots you've registered as "favorites." From here, you can discuss and narrow down your destinations.

Step 3. Complete your travel itinerary with the help of AI

Once you have narrowed down your spots, use the "Add to My Plan" function to plot them on the timeline of your travel plan. Just a rough estimate of the time is fine.

If you use the "Bulk Route Search" button on the bottom right, the means of transportation and the required time are automatically included, so you can easily check whether the time setting is reasonable. This is a convenient function! If you are not sure about the relative positions of the spots, you can open the "Travel Plan Map" to check whether you have made unnecessary trips back and forth.

With just this one app, I was able to create a travel guide! It's convenient that I don't have to open a map, transit guide, tourist site, and many other apps at the same time!

It seems they had a great time planning the course together with excitement.
