Michelin 5-star inn "Iki Retreat Kairi Murakami by Onkochishin"
Iki Island in Nagasaki is known as "the island where the gods reside" and "the jewel box of the Genkai Sea," and is full of natural mysteries. At the five-star inn "Iki Retreat Kairi Murakami by Onkochishin," located along the tranquil Yumoto Bay, you can enjoy the charms of Iki with all your senses, from freshly caught seafood to sunsets that evoke its eternal history.

The 12 guest rooms have ocean views and an open-air hypertonic hot spring bath, based on the concept of a "Small Sanctuary," which is filled with the sense of relief of returning to a nostalgic place, with soothing wave patterns, floating islands reminiscent of dry landscape gardens, and golden hot spring water that has been gushing forth since ancient times.

Kateigaho Suite
Among them, the special room "Kateigaho Suite", which was created in collaboration with the magazine Kateigaho and has the theme of "A Kyushu Art Gallery Where You Can Stay", will be available for a limited time until Friday, June 14, 2024 (from 88,000 yen per person for one night with two meals included *Price is per person when two people share a room).

Kateigaho Suite
The 120m2 top-class guest rooms display carefully selected works by artists active in Kyushu. In addition, the terrace features a newly built cypress bath, where you can spend a luxurious time while looking out at the magnificent view of Yumoto Bay. In the hotel's library, you can also browse valuable back issues of the magazine Kateigaho.
* After June 15th, the room will revert to a regular suite and the display of back issues of Kateigaho magazine will also end.

All-you-can-eat rosy seabass course meal
For those who want to fully enjoy the bounty of Iki, we recommend the "Nodoguro Kaiseki" plan, which uses every last bit of the rare luxury fish "Nodoguro" (from 58,000 yen for one night with two meals *Price per person for two people sharing a room). This special course is available only until Friday, April 26, 2024, and uses simple cooking methods such as steaming, grilling, and nigiri, allowing the flavor of the ingredients and the skill of the chef to shine.

All-you-can-eat rosy seabass course meal

"AMANE RESORT GAHAMA" revives Beppu's villa culture into modern times
AMANE RESORT GAHAMA was built with the desire to preserve for future generations the worldview of the Kurume Kasuri King's villa, Kunitake Villa, which symbolizes Beppu's glamorous villa culture.

Parkside Villa
The harmony between historic buildings, modern contemporary architecture, and natural and artistic spaces will create a one-of-a-kind travel story just for you.

Gahama Tower's View Bath
There are 31 rooms in total, with 7 types available. There is a wide variety of options, including rooms with private heated pools and maisonette-type rooms, so you can choose the room that best suits your needs.
Particularly popular is the Gahama Tower, which opened in 2019. All rooms have ocean views and are equipped with view baths with natural hot spring water. There is also a semi-open-air jacuzzi on the top floor, so you can enjoy a high-quality private stay while looking out at Beppu Bay below.

Club Lounge Gahama
The Club Lounge Gahama, a lounge exclusively for guests, is scheduled to open in April 2023. There are ocean view seats overlooking the sea and garden view seats overlooking Shoningahama Park, both of which are spacious and relaxing.
Enjoy a relaxing time with tea and sweets in the afternoon, snacks to go with your alcoholic drinks during cocktail time, and light meals to go with your coffee or tea in the morning.

Gahama Terrace Fitness Gym
There are also plenty of other amenities, such as a gallery shop and a fitness gym. It's a resort facility for adults where you can stay just like in a villa.

Amanojyaku: A luxurious all-suite hotel with ocean views from every room
Amanojaku is a small luxury hotel that opened in June 2023. Inspired by the word "Amanojaku," which means a cynical person, the concept is "enjoy something a little different from the rest," and it is an ocean resort that is unconventional and breathes Japanese aesthetics.

All 11 guest rooms are suites, and there are three types: "Suite," "Junior Suite," and "Quad Suite." All rooms have ocean views and come with an open-air or semi-open-air bath. You can have the overwhelming scenery woven by the nature of Amakusa all to yourself.
ART GALLERY
Throughout the hotel, you can feel the art of Amakusa, Kumamoto, and Kyushu. For example, the paintings in the guest rooms, restaurants, and lobby are by Amakusa-born painter Shoji Yokoshima. Furthermore, the guest room objects are works by Kumamoto woodsculptor Toshihiro Kozuma, so being immersed in the fusion of art is one of the charms of Amanosa no Jaku.

Dining Table Wabi
Meals are served at Dining Table Wabi, which has 10 counter seats and 7 private rooms. We especially recommend the counter seats, which are in a great location to enjoy the magnificent nature of Amakusa. The food is made from fresh seafood caught in the waters off the Amakusa Islands, and is served in Japanese cuisine and sushi, prepared to bring out the best in the ingredients. You can enjoy every bit of Amakusa's seasonal delicacies.

The manager was one of the people who was selected as the number one in Japan at the Maitre de Service Cup, Japan's only restaurant service competition that meets global standards. Look forward to the unique, unconventional, and "contrary" atmosphere and hospitality.

A sophisticated resort for true adults, "Goto Retreat ray by Onkochishin"
Goto Retreat ray by Onkochishin is located on a hill overlooking the lava coast that was formed by the eruption of Goto's symbol, Onidake. All rooms at the hotel have an open-air bath with an ocean view.

Of particular note is the interior, designed by designer Yukio Hashimoto, who also designed the interior. The open-ceiling lobby that welcomes guests is decorated with mirrored aluminum panels, and the large polished table in the center projects seasonal scenery like a big screen. The breathtaking view of the sea and sky is brought into the building, creating an unparalleled sense of openness.

The tableware that decorates the guest rooms was jointly developed by designers and Nishikai Touki, a company that produces Hasami ware. The modern design is suitable for both special occasions and everyday use, and fits in well with modern life.
The architectural design and interior were highly praised, and the building won the 2023 Good Design Award and the Interior Planning Award 2023 Grand Prize in October 2023.

Goto is an island that is not connected to the mainland, which is why it is possible to consume all agricultural products locally. The head chef regards luxurious island ingredients, including the legendary "Goto beef" that is raised on mineral-rich pasture, as the "light of the region," and creates Goto Retreat's original "Light of Japanese Cuisine." Please enjoy the exquisite menu that can only be tasted here.

There are also many other activities available, such as a spa using Goto camellia, a camellia oil extraction experience, and a stained glass experience. Experience the charm of Goto, located within Saikai National Park, with your whole body.
