画像1: 平野神社:多彩な品種の桜を長く楽しめる

Hirano Shrine is one of Kyoto's most famous cherry blossom spots, beloved by Heian aristocrats. These trees were first planted during the Heian period as a symbol of increased vitality, and today there are around 400 cherry trees of 60 different varieties, including Sakigake Sakura, Nezame Sakura, Hirano Imose Sakura, Taoyame Sakura, and Tsukubane Sakura.

Another distinctive feature of the cherry blossoms at Hirano Shrine is that because the blooming periods vary depending on the variety, you can enjoy the cherry blossoms for about two months, from early March to late April.
