JAL Hometown Support Team Tokushima Prefecture Representative Suzuki
I was born in Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture. Even after I left Tokushima after graduating from high school, my parents sent me delicious food from Tokushima, so I always feel close to Tokushima.
I am working as a member of the JAL Hometown Support Team to spread the appeal of my beloved hometown, Tokushima.
The Charm of Tokushima Prefecture
Tokushima Prefecture is surrounded by nature, including mountains, the sea, and rivers, and is rich in ingredients nurtured by the clean water and air. In addition to the famous sudachi and naruto kintoki oranges, there are many other specialty products, such as fresh shiitake mushrooms, carrots, lotus root, and wakame seaweed.
Other attractions include activities and sightseeing that allow you to enjoy the magnificent nature, such as the Naruto whirlpools and Iya Kazurabashi Bridge, as well as experiences that allow you to experience history and culture, such as Awa Odori and the Shikoku Pilgrimage.
The local souvenirs chosen by the Tokushima Prefecture Hometown Support Team are...
"Sunrise Flavored Seaweed"

Price: 464 yen per case / Seller: Ohno Nori

It is so famous in Tokushima that everyone knows about it, and compared to other seasoned seaweed, it has a strong flavor and a slightly spicy taste. It goes perfectly with freshly cooked rice, and is so delicious you can't stop eating it. It also goes well with Tokushima's specialty sudachi citrus, Handa somen noodles, and chirimen.
The retro packaging is also attractive, and people of all ages and genders will be delighted to receive Ohno Nori as a souvenir or thank-you gift.
Available for purchase at Tokushima Awaodori Airport, etc.
