"engawa YUMOTO" - A relaxing atmosphere that will make you want to stay for a while
Next we will introduce "engawa YUMOTO", a rental space and cafe created by renovating a warehouse that is over 70 years old. The store is equipped with Wi-Fi and you can also rent an electrical outlet. Although the cafe space is small with only 10 seats, you can rent it out for just 1,000 yen per hour on weekdays, which is a great deal!

Enjoy the famous "Kawara Soba" at "Kawara Soba Yanagiya"
Refresh yourself in the hot springs and recharge with delicious local cuisine. That's one of the great pleasures of touji workcation. The author recommends "Kawarasoba Yanagiya" located in "Daigo Nagaya", a complex facility renovated from an old house. It is located just a one-minute walk from engawa YUMOTO, which we introduced earlier.
The sizzling "Kawara Soba" is a Yamaguchi Prefecture specialty that is served with green tea soba noodles, handmade shredded egg, Nagato green onions, and more on a heated tile. At this restaurant, lemon and grated momiji are added to the warm noodle soup to change the flavor, making it refreshing and delicious until the very end.

If you like alcohol, a fizzy craft beer after a bath is the ultimate luxury! 365+1 BEER is Nagato City's first craft beer specialty store, opened in July 2021 by a beer-loving couple. In front of the store, you can see the neon sign that reads "yu" (hot water), which was at Onyu before it was renovated.
You can enjoy freshly brewed beer either in the store or as a takeaway. The popular "Pale Ale" is a fruity drink with a strong hop flavor. It has little bitterness and a clean, refreshing aftertaste. It has a gentle flavor that is easy to drink even for those who don't like beer.
