Spectacular fireworks on Independence Day signal the arrival of summer in New York
Under the dazzling sun, New York City is a place where people with a wide variety of personalities strut about. Independence Day, July 4th, is the day that heralds the arrival of summer in this city. On this day, various parades, outdoor events, and fireworks displays are held all over the United States, but the Macy's Fireworks Display, organized by the long-established department store Macy's, is a big event that attracts attention as one of the largest fireworks displays in the United States. More than 40,000 fireworks are launched into the sky above the East River every year! The large fireworks that light up the Manhattan night sky can be viewed from vantage points in Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn. Public viewing will also be held, but traffic restrictions will be in place, so please enter from the entry points set up in various locations.
