見て「遊ぶ・考える・体験する」日本唯一の地下水族館。「久慈の海水槽」では土日祝日限定で「北限の海女」や「南部もぐり」の華麗な潜水技術を目の前で見ることができます。また「トンネル水槽」では、久慈の海を再現した展示のほか、東日本大震災を生き延びた「かめ吉」が活き活きとした姿で泳いでいます。
