A recommended spot to stop by in Kamikawa Town is the gift shop at Kamikawa Taisetsu Sake Brewery's "Midorikyugura." The shop, attached to the brewery, is lined with carefully selected products, including Junmai sake, which is carefully brewed in small batches.

There are lots of great souvenirs available, including sake and sake lees products that are only available at the shop, as well as miscellaneous items such as sake ware and hand towels. The brewery has viewing windows for each stage of the sake brewing process, allowing you to see what is going on inside.

Today's accommodation is Hotel Daisetsu, located on the highest ground in Sounkyo Onsen. There are three large baths and two open-air baths, each with a different atmosphere, and the view surrounded by the spectacular columnar joints created by volcanic activity is also appealing.
