The restaurant's signature dish, the "Taro Burger" ($7, approx. 980 yen in Japanese yen), features a bright purple bun made with taro. The savory patty is very juicy and satisfying.

Another popular item is the "BBQ TRIO" ($20, about 2,800 yen in Japanese yen), a "Fiesta Plate" packed like a bento box with traditional Guam home cooking, which includes chicken, beef steak, sausage, macaroni salad and rice, making it a very filling meal. This is a collaboration with Guam's popular food truck "Fat Boy Slim," and is a very popular menu item among locals.

The ocean is right nearby, so we recommend taking a photo at the "pink wall" outside the restaurant, then purchasing lunch here and having a picnic on the beach.

Although the name of the restaurant includes the word "sandwich," it is actually a hamburger shop that is full of attention to detail. They offer 10 types of hamburgers, and they all look delicious, so it's hard to choose. The most popular burger is the "#1 SAVBURGER (DLX)" ($11, about 1,500 yen in Japanese yen), which is a burger sandwiched between a sirloin patty, American cheese, fancy sauce, Savage's original pickles, and onions.

When you order a hamburger, it comes with a drink of "Laguna Lemonade" or "Pineapple Orange Mango" and one of the following choices: French fries, sweet potato fries, or onion rings (+$6 = approx. 840 yen in Japanese yen). One bite and you'll be convinced. This is Guam's hottest hamburger shop, one you'll want to visit again and again.

One thing you should definitely try during your stay in Guam is an American steak. There are many steak restaurants on the island of Guam, but LongHorn Steakhouse is a major American chain that opened in 2021, and many people may not have heard of it.

"THE LONGHORN 22oz" ($53.99 = approx. 7,558 yen in Japanese yen, in the foreground of the photo) is a luxurious menu that allows you to enjoy two cuts of beef at the same time: bone-in sirloin and fillet steak. Contrary to its appearance, it is a very tender and delicious dish.

The side dish "STEAKHOUSE MAC & CHEESE" ($7.39, approximately 1,035 yen in Japanese yen) is a beloved American home-style dish of macaroni and cheese, topped with smoked bacon and four types of cheese and baked piping hot, making it a great choice for children as well.

You can enjoy a leisurely meal while looking out at the Tumon cityscape from the large windows. Ingredients are imported directly from Greece, France, Spain, Lebanon, Italy, etc., and the dishes, which use plenty of seafood and vegetables, are not only beautiful to look at, but also satisfy your stomach and your heart.

The Greek salad ($25, approximately 3,500 yen) uses cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, bell peppers, capers, olives, oregano, and hueta cheese, allowing you to fully enjoy the taste of fresh ingredients.

LYT Restaurant Bar, located on the second floor of the building next to the Westin Hotel, is a restaurant that prides itself on its carefully selected food and drinks, with a concept of Asian fusion cuisine (international cuisine).

Although the restaurant's name says "bar," there are also sunken kotatsu seats where you can take off your shoes, so it's also recommended for families with children. Depending on the seat, you can enjoy your meal while looking out at the Tumon cityscape.

The "Bulgogi Bowl" ($16, approximately 2,240 yen) is delicious with tender meat in a sweet sauce, and is also served with a fried egg and vegetables, making it a well-balanced dish.

The restaurant offers dishes that suit Japanese tastes, such as the "Chicken Caesar Wrap" ($15, or about 2,100 yen in Japanese yen), which allows you to eat salad and chicken at the same time, the Chamorro-style "Dinnache Burger," and the Filipino "Fried Pork Belly." The "Cloudy Large size" ($4.98, or about 697 yen in Japanese yen) is so large that children cannot hold it in one hand. You can choose your favorite color from seven colors: blue, white, orange, purple, green, pink, and yellow.

"Flavor of Fries Honey Sriracha" (large size $7.48 = approx. 1,047 yen in Japanese yen) is tossed with honey and a spicy sauce called Sriracha. The sweet and spicy flavor spreads throughout your mouth, making it so delicious you won't be able to stop eating. Other unusual combinations available include creamy wasabi, jalapeno sweet corn, and chili BBQ.

The owner's recommended "Takoyaki" ($10.98 = 1,537 yen in Japanese yen) is a menu inspired by Japanese takoyaki. Three takoyaki balls, the sauce used for them, bonito flakes, and mayonnaise are served on French fries. It's an unlikely and exquisite combination, and every flavor is appealing.

One of the must-try dishes in Guam is the "poke bowl" made with fresh tuna and salmon. "Local Bowlz Co." is located in the Payless Supermarket in the Micronesia Mall, which reopened in 2023. The owner of "Lonestar," a steak restaurant popular among tourists in Guam, owns the store, and sells "international donburi" (rice bowls) that symbolize the food cultures of Guam, Hawaii, Japan, and Korea.

For salmon lovers, we recommend the "Salmon Poke Bowlz - Shoyu/Spicy/Furikake" ($13, or about 1,820 yen in Japanese yen). You can choose your favorite flavor from three different flavors for this poke bowl. This is the only poke bowl shop in Guam that offers such a wide variety.

And if you miss Japanese food during your stay in Guam, try the "Chicken Katsudon" ($10 = 1,400 yen in Japanese yen) or "Gyudon" ($11 = 1,540 yen in Japanese yen). All menu items use Japanese rice, so you can enjoy fluffy rice.

ICE UNA is a Taiwanese-style shaved ice specialty store that opened in 2022. It is located opposite the PIC Hotel and is easily accessible. The shaved ice at this store is characterized by its creamy texture using milk powder, and is made with ingredients that are completely different from Japanese shaved ice.

The cute-looking "Macaron Queen" ($13.95, or about 1,953 yen in Japanese Yen) is a popular menu item here. It is pastel-colored shaved ice with cute eyes made of chocolate and is served with condensed milk. The "Mango Madness" ($12.95, or about 1,813 yen in Japanese Yen) next to it is topped with mellow mango and sauce, making it refreshing to eat until the very end.

If you want to add toppings ($0.95-1.45, or about 133-203 yen in Japanese yen), we recommend the "Fruit Pearl", "Rice Ball", and "Taro Ball" (from the left). Payless Market is open 24 hours a day, and this bakery also opens from 7am, so it's recommended for travelers who want to be active early in the morning. Order some takeout and enjoy a delicious breakfast.
