Toyooka City is located in the northern part of Hyogo Prefecture (Tajima region). There are plenty of spots to satisfy the body, stomach and soul, including Kinosaki Onsen, which has a history of 1,300 years, Izushi Castle Town, which retains the atmosphere of a castle town from the Edo period, and Izushi Sara Soba and crab.
Takenohama Beach (Geocanoe)
This beach boasts a shallow, crystal clear ocean and a 1km stretch of white sand. There are many accommodation facilities around the beach, and it is bustling with tourists during the swimming season from July to August.
Geocanoeing, where you can enjoy the scenery of Kinosaki Coast (San'in Coast Geopark) from a sea kayak, is a fun experience that anyone can try out under the guidance of an instructor.
