We are looking for participants!
On March 13, 2022, JAL Flight 1949 will depart from Narita Airport and is an unusual charter flight using a Boeing 767-300. The customers who gather here are people who love gummy candies. The opportunity arose when Kundo Koyama, a broadcast writer appearing on the BS Fuji program "Kundo Koyama Tokyo Conference," talked about "gummy candies" with Masataka Matsutoya and Yuhi Komiyama.
93 (gummy) customers filled with gummy love gathered at Narita Airport
When they called for sponsors for the round-trip charter flight, UHA Mikakuto, the developer of Kogumi flavored after JAL's original drink "Sky Time Peach and Grape," came forward.

A total of 93 (Gummy) customers participated on this day. On this day, when the weather was starting to warm up in early spring, people who were chosen from applications to spark the popularity of Gummy candies gathered in the domestic departure lobby at Narita Airport.

Once customers have completed their boarding procedures, they will be given 10 different types of gummy candies, including a special one, as a souvenir.

In the departure lobby, there will also be a booth where you can take commemorative photos with the staff involved in the project and UHA Mikakuto's official mascots, as well as a corner introducing gummy products.

Many visitors enjoy taking commemorative photos.

There was a little surprise near the boarding gate. The dance team, the Red Cranes, made up of volunteer JAL staff, performed a dance. They incorporated movements unique to jobs related to the sky, such as the paddle action of ground handling.

"Even though it's difficult to enjoy casual travel these days, we want people to feel closer to SkyTime. We developed these gummies with the hope that people can experience the feeling of flying, even if just a little. We never imagined that this would lead to a charter flight, so we have been looking forward to this day."

Kaori Yoshida, a member of the Product and Service Development Department, was involved in the development of the "Sky Time Peach and Grape" flavored Kogumi. She will be boarding the charter flight wearing a 1970s uniform.

Upon stepping onto the plane, passengers are greeted by headrest covers designed with UHA Mikakuto brand designs. A boarding pass and a flight tag made especially for this charter flight are placed on each seat.

Before takeoff, a welcome drink is served. It is "Sky Time Peach and Grape," which is also the base for the gummy candy. You can enjoy the refreshing "JAL taste" with the fresh fruit aroma in the spacious seat pitch unique to international flights. Thus, the curtain rises on a special three-hour flight.

The plane steers to trace the Tokaido Highway. The course of the sightseeing flight is a special heart-shaped route that passes through Komatsu, Kochi, Kushimoto, and Miyakejima, with Mount Fuji in the background.

A movie announcing the start of the "Flying Love Gummy Festival" plays on the personal monitors installed at each seat. UHA Mikakuto President Yasumasa Yamada, dressed as an airplane captain, appears on the monitor and says, "Our commercials are aggressive, aggressive, aggressive!" He then comically introduces the most impactful commercials of all time in a ranking format.
