10:30 Shirokane Blue Pond
The pond has a mysterious water color, like melted blue paint. Dead larch trees peeking out of the lake surface create a fantastic atmosphere. A photo of this pond was used as a wallpaper by Apple, and it quickly became a famous tourist spot. Near the Blue Pond, there is the "Biei Town Shirokane Ranch" where you can watch the leisurely grazing cows, and the "Shirohige Falls" where the water falls between natural rocks.

They sell goods related to "Shirokane Blue Pond", local products of Biei, outdoor goods, etc. The Mori Information Center provides tourist information about Biei. Inside the facility is a hamburger shop called "BETWEEN THE BREAD" that uses ingredients harvested in Biei. There is an eat-in space with 30 seats, and an outdoor terrace surrounded by forest with about 40 seats.

13:30 Mt. Tokachi Observatory
From an altitude of 930 meters, you can get a panoramic view of the towns of Biei and Furano, see the smoking Mt. Tokachi up close, and enjoy the magnificent nature. You can also enjoy a stroll for about an hour while looking at traces of the eruption and alpine plants. You can tour the area in sneakers, so no hiking boots are necessary. Tokachidake Geopark (Biei/Kami-Furano area) was certified as a Japanese Geopark on January 28, 2022.

This farm is famous in the Furano area, which is known for its lavender fields. You can enjoy colorful flowers blooming in each season in 12 flower fields. There are also shops, a museum, and a lavender distillery within the farm, so there is plenty to see. Please note that the shops and cafes will be crowded during the season.

It blends beautifully with nature and offers a panoramic view of the majestic Tokachidake and Furano Basin. Adjacent to the premises are the "Wind Garden," "Forest Clock," and "Tree Adventure Furano." Shisai no Yu, which has a hot spring vein 1,010 meters underground, is a hot spring that gently heals the fatigue of the body and mind with its smooth water that feels good on the skin.
