Reisanji Temple
Affectionately known as "Ichiban-san," this is the starting point of the pilgrimage to the 88 sacred sites of Shikoku. In the main hall, there are countless lanterns, a powerful painting of a dragon on the ceiling, and within the grounds, there is the Matchmaking Kannon. In addition, the shop sells a full set of pilgrimage supplies, including pilgrim's attire, votive tablets, sutra books, and kongo staffs, and in front of the temple gate, Monzen Ichibangai Street, we recommend the freshly baked rice cakes "Awakutta," which can be eaten at the tea ceremony corner.
