[Mie] Shima Mediterranean Village: A collaboration of blue and green that stands out against the chalk-white streets
The 2016 summit was held in the scenic Shima Peninsula. The Shima Mediterranean Village hotel is a hotel that creates an elegant worldview in harmony with the rich nature that Japan is proud of. As the name suggests, the townscape recreates the Mediterranean coastal area, and there are many photogenic spots.

All of these buildings were designed by Spanish architects. They are divided into five areas with different concepts: "Miconorca," "Alhambra," "Andalusia," "Sardinia," and "Castilla," and you can stay in the room that suits you best. There are other highlights throughout the hotel, such as the fountain square at the entrance decorated with Spanish tiles, and the cafe "Amigo," where blue furniture stands out against the white space.

Ise-Shima is also famous as a treasure trove of fine cuisine. A must-visit is the Mediterranean restaurant "RIAS by Kokotxa" located at the tip of the cape within the facility. The terracotta walls of the restaurant offer a spectacular view of Ago Bay, and the interior is full of exotic atmosphere. The cuisine is a collaboration with a Michelin one-star restaurant, and offers innovative flavors of locally caught seafood and mountain delicacies.

The baths, which are essential for relaxation, are also sprinkled with Mediterranean elements. That's "Spa Alhambra." The Arabic design is inspired by the hammam in the Alhambra Palace, and the water is a natural hot spring that springs from 1,430 meters underground. The spring quality is sodium chloride hot spring, which is highly popular for its high heat retention effect and long-lasting cooling.
Throughout the four seasons, you can enjoy the magnificent nature of the area through cruising, fishing, and other activities, experience plans, and relaxation. Shima Mediterranean Village is a resort experience that you can enjoy with all five senses.

[Kochi] Villa Santorini recreates the "miracle island" of the Aegean Sea
Santorini is a beautiful island in the Aegean Sea, Greece. It is a resort destination that attracts many tourists every year, attracted by the townscape of white-walled buildings against the blue sky and sea. The owner of this island, also known as the "Island of Miracles," noticed that the view from the cliffs is very similar to the view from the Yokonami Peninsula facing Tosa Bay, and after visiting the island many times, he recreated the hotel "Villa Santorini."

The white building features a distinctive blue round roof. The approach to the guest rooms is through a maze of narrow paths. The terrace has tables with parasols, which are sure to soothe you. The pool is also open to guests, allowing you to enjoy an even more elegant atmosphere.

The hotel's concept is of course reflected in the guest rooms. The main building is a cave-like space, inspired by Santorini's traditional architectural technique of digging a hole into a cliff. The new building has a flat roof inspired by the captain's mansion built on the cliffs of Santorini.

The hotel also focuses on cuisine. In the main dining area, Logue, you can enjoy a course menu using local Kochi ingredients, prepared by Chef Ihara Hisanori, who traveled to Italy to explore authentic cooking techniques and flavors, and also trained at a two-star restaurant in France.
The beautiful white and blue scenery and the gorgeous cuisine created by top chefs are sure to make for a memorable experience for those who have never been to Santorini before.
