Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum
This museum is located in Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture, the city with the largest amount of dinosaur fossils excavated in Japan. It is one of the three largest dinosaur museums in the world, and its vast space features numerous exhibits, including dinosaur skeletons, fossil specimens, and life-size dioramas. In addition, at the "Outdoor Dinosaur Museum," you can actually experience fossil excavation near the stratum where dinosaur fossils were discovered.
