The greater the difference in temperature between your departure and arrival points, the more you may feel like you're in a resort. In that sense, you can't help but feel the potential of Okinawa's charm. The moment you step onto the airport, you'll be greeted by the heat, the sun, and the blue sky. From the moment you step onto the ground at Naha Airport, you'll feel like you're in a resort, just like you would in Hawaii.
Tips for a trip to Hawaii①
Drive along the coast in an open-top car

Heat Sports Rental Car, which has a wide selection of foreign car rentals, offers options for foreign convertibles such as BMWs at great prices. Slip into the cockpit of a convertible, which is a little tighter than a sedan or SUV, open the top and step on the accelerator, and you'll be instantly enveloped in the direct roar of the engine and the tropical breeze that only an open-top car can provide.

Once you hit the national highway on the west coast, feel the ocean breeze. You can enjoy a resort drive along the coast of Okinawa as well as Hawaii, where you can enjoy the vast scenery of the horizon. The hour-long drive will pass in the blink of an eye.

Eventually you will reach the Onna Village area, where many famous resorts are located.

A vast resort surrounded by beautiful sea
We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island Okinawa, a beach resort in a rare location connected to the main island of Okinawa by a single bridge.

The Hyatt Regency Seragaki, with its island-like atmosphere, is in such a wonderful location that it's hard to believe it's a domestic facility. Once you leave your key at the valet parking at the entrance and step inside, you'll be blown away by the beautiful furnishings that are befitting a sophisticated ocean resort.

The lobby, designed around the theme of "transition," has sunlight pouring in through large and small square wooden frames, casting elegant, swaying shadows on the floor.

Hoteliers with their backs straightened are coming and going, and whenever they pass by you they greet you politely. This is the kind of attentive hospitality you can only expect from a high-class hotel that has many fans both at home and abroad. I'm excited about the high-quality accommodation experience that is about to begin.

Of course, the rooms have an ocean view, so you can enjoy your stay however you like, surrendering yourself to the luxurious sensation of having the beach all to yourself.

Sunset dinner as the Pacific Ocean turns crimson red
Why not enjoy a sunset dinner at least once during your stay? On this day, the sun sets around 7:00 p.m. We reserved a table at "Cucina Serare" to coincide with the time. We enjoyed a course of Italian cuisine incorporating Okinawa's seasonal ingredients. (This is an additional charge for tours.)

The appetizer is balsamic-marinated bonito. Handmade pasta is garnished with perfectly cooked shrimp. The main course is local chicken saltato, with capers and tomatoes adding a vibrant accent. The menu, which makes generous use of local ingredients and skillfully incorporates the essence of Okinawa, is impressive. The chefs and pastry chefs are all professionals who have worked in various first-class hotels. The menu changes with the seasons, and the mouthwatering menu will have you coming back for more, allowing you to spend a dreamy time.

But don't get distracted by the food. Soon you'll notice that the outside of the window is starting to turn crimson red. When you step out onto the terrace with a large water basin, a magnificent orange sunset will spread out before your eyes. The scene, combined with the sound of the lapping waves, is sure to be an unforgettable memory unique to a tropical resort.
Tips for a trip to Hawaii #4
Feel the tropical breeze with our in-room breakfast

If you wake up to the sound of the distant waves and want to sleep a little longer, we recommend the in-room breakfast. The tour offers a room service breakfast service. If you call room service, you can enjoy an American breakfast in your room.

To avoid the hustle and bustle of the main dining room and enjoy a quiet breakfast, be sure to open the windows in your room and enjoy the refreshing tropical breeze.
Tips for a trip to Hawaii 5
Marine activities and gorgeous pools

At the Hyatt Regency Seragaki, you can enjoy a variety of programs. You can choose from "Morning Yoga" that you can enjoy in the refreshing morning light, and "Snorkeling" that allows you to experience the sea of Seragaki, which is known for its high transparency and rich ecosystem. (Additional cost for tours)

Losing track of time and enjoying activities on the beautiful beachside is a meaningful way to spend time, which is common in Hawaii.

If you feel a bit tired, head to the poolside. The Hyatt Regency Seragaki features a beautiful layout of numerous pools and jacuzzis facing the sea. Enjoy a relaxing time with a tropical drink at the poolside bar (open only in summer).
A stay in Okinawa of your own volition is sure to be a rich experience.
A stay at a high-quality hotel and a variety of features that give you a tropical resort feel will make your domestic trip feel like "Hawaii". You can use the hotel facilities, enjoy activities, or go for a drive in an open-top car. Everything is sure to be an extraordinary and luxurious experience.

There are no rules when it comes to enjoying a tropical getaway. You are sure to find an experience that will refresh your mind and body and leave you feeling enriched. If you visit Okinawa on this tour, you will realize that you can still enjoy a tropical resort even during the COVID-19 pandemic.
