This time we will introduce Itoshima, Fukuoka Prefecture, a place that will make your trip full of sights. Located about 30km west of Fukuoka City, this peninsula has become widely known due to the recent relocation boom.

The first place we will introduce is "Kobo Tottan," a shop located on the westernmost tip of Itoshima. The workshop is located on top of a hill, reached by a gravel road that is not paved.
At this shop facing the sea with a great view, you can enjoy slightly salty Hana Shio Pudding made with Itoshima's eggs, milk, and local specialty "Maitachi Salt."
At Kobo Tottan, you can experience salt making using traditional methods. You may notice a difference in the salt you use every day without even realizing it.

Action Paragliding School
After enjoying the delicious pudding, we head off for an exhilarating paragliding experience near Nogita Beach in the central north part of Itoshima.
Action Paragliding School offers a "Tandem Plan" that allows even beginners to experience paragliding with peace of mind. It is a popular activity, especially among women, where you can enjoy the scenery of Itoshima's lush mountains and the beautiful, arching coastline from the sky.
When you hear the word "paragliding," some might think it sounds scary, but once you take off and catch the wind, it's more stable than you'd think, and you can take in the scenery with a vivid image.

Palm Beach (PALM BEACH THE GARDENS)
After your paragliding experience, head east along the coastline from Nogita Beach. Just outside of Itoshima City and into Fukuoka City, you will find PALM BEACH THE GARDENS, a cafe popular among locals.
This cafe boasts a spacious interior and a tropical ocean view, and is known for its Italian cuisine made with local organic vegetables and pork. The chef's special dishes, such as pizza made with homemade dough and carbonara made with fresh pasta, will bring a smile to your face.
The walls and lighting are unified in yellow and red, creating a gorgeous yet calming space for relaxation. Spending time listening to the sound of the waves is an exceptional experience.

Sakurai Futamigaura
After enjoying a meal at the cafe, head back a little west along the coastline to Futamigaura, which has been selected as one of the "100 Best Sunsets in Japan." The "Meotoiwa" rocks that stand there are known as a power spot, and are said to bring good fortune to those who visit, such as finding love and having a happy marriage.
Ending your trip with a beautiful view will make it even more unforgettable.
