1. "Snorkeling with whale sharks" - Be amazed by the creatures you encounter in the great outdoors

If you want to experience the natural beauty that is only found in Cebu, you can't miss "Snorkeling with Whale Sharks." In this activity, you can swim past several giant whale sharks and observe them up close.
Whale sharks are the largest fish in the world, with some larger ones reaching over 10 meters in length. It may seem scary to approach them, but there's no need to worry as they are gentle creatures that feed on plankton and krill. If you dare to swim with them, you'll enjoy a special experience that you can't have in your everyday life.
The chance of encountering a whale shark is over 99.9%. It is one of the most popular activities in Cebu, and is enjoyed not only by tourists and international students, but also by locals who participate repeatedly.
Oslob, where you can enjoy this activity, is about a 3-4 hour drive from Cebu City. Whale sharks only appear in the morning, so if you are staying in Cebu City, you will need to leave around 4am. You can get there on your own by bus or rental car, but it is recommended to join a tour departing from Cebu City.

Snorkeling equipment is provided on the tour, so you can participate empty-handed. GoPro cameras are available for rental, allowing you to take photos and videos underwater, so you can take impressive photos of the whale sharks.
The staff around are all very friendly, so if you hand over your camera they will happily take photos for you. Be sure to take a photo with the whale shark as a memento of your trip.
Also enjoy: 1. Kawasan Falls
There are other recommended spots and activities near Oslob, including tours that can be combined with "Whale Shark and Snorkeling."
Kawasan Falls, located about an hour's drive from Oslob, where you can see the whale sharks, is the most popular waterfall in Cebu, where you can enjoy swimming in the river surrounded by spectacular scenery.
It's about a 500m walk from the reception area to the main waterfall. It's surrounded by trees and is full of negative ions. Just walking around in the natural surroundings is soothing.

At Kawasan Falls, you can swim in the pool or get up close to the falls and feel the spray of the water. That alone is enjoyable, but we recommend activities like river boating and cliff diving into the river. It's thrilling, but you'll feel refreshed once you try it. Why not join the locals and give it a try?
Also enjoy: 2. Sumilon Island
To get to Sumilon Island, leave Oslob and head to the port, which is about a 5-minute drive away. After about a 15-minute boat ride, you will see Sumilon Island, famous for its crystal clear waters.
This is a small island with only one hotel, so even those who don't stay at the hotel can easily visit.

The main attraction is the white sand beach and the beautiful emerald green sea. The best way to enjoy this island is to spend your time relaxing in the beautiful scenery, playing on the beach, taking photos, snorkeling, etc.
Sumilon Island is recommended for those who want to relax after engaging in physical activities.
2. "Zipline on top of a building" - Escape from the everyday and enjoy the thrill

The Tower Zip is a zipline that goes up a building and has recently become popular as it allows you to enjoy a thrilling activity while overlooking the city of Cebu. If you want to escape from your daily life and have fun to your heart's content, this is the activity for you.
You can experience this on the rooftop of the Crown Regency Hotel in Cebu City, which is said to be as high as the 38th floor of a skyscraper.
A zip line is an activity where you hang from a pulley and slide down a wire stretched high up like Tarzan. The Tower Zip is set up to connect the rooftops of two Crown Regency buildings and is about 40 meters long. It takes about 15 seconds from start to finish.
While waiting for your turn, you can hear the screams of others experiencing the experience, which makes you feel even more terrified.

Once you're ready at the starting point, you'll wait suspended in mid-air until you depart. This period is quite scary, but once you start sliding, you'll feel more exhilaration than fear. You'll feel as if you're flying through the air, and you can enjoy the scenery around you.
Once you reach the finish line, you'll then move in the opposite direction and be pulled back to your original spot. Because you're being pulled slowly by the lift, it turns out that many people find the return trip scarier than the trip there. A staff member who knows this will say to you, "Try letting go of your hands!"
This zip line is open until midnight (until 26:00 on Saturdays), so you can enjoy it even late at night. You can see different views depending on the time of day, so we recommend visiting it several times during your stay.
Other things to enjoy: 1. "Skywalk"
Crown Regency also offers two other thrilling activities, so why not try them out along with the zip line?

The "Skywalk" is an activity where you walk on a platform without handrails that goes all the way around the building. The floor is partially made of glass, so you can clearly see what's happening below. Even though you're wearing a safety rope, the thrill of falling makes you feel weak in the knees.
There is also a service where a photographer will take photos at each best spot. If you follow their instructions and pose, you can have the photo taken as if you are in the air.
Enjoy together 2. "Edge Coaster"

The Edge Coaster is an activity that goes around a building, just like the Skywalk. The unique feature of this ride is that the coaster itself has a maximum incline of 55 degrees.
Only the feet are fixed in place. If it tilts up to 55 degrees, you'll scream out of fear that you'll be thrown off. After the tilt reaches its maximum, you can adjust it to your preferred angle with the lever at hand.
For safety reasons, cameras and jewelry are prohibited at the three attractions. If you are wearing sandals that tend to slip off, please change into the shoes provided.
You can also just enter the facility without taking part in any activities, so even if you're not good with heights, you can still enjoy watching the people you visit with experience up close.

3. "Bohol Loboc River Cruise" - Spend a special time on the "Mysterious Island"

Bohol Island, about two hours away from Cebu Island by high-speed ferry, is known as the "Mysterious Island." You can enjoy the spectacular natural scenery created by the unique topography and experience the culture of the indigenous people. One activity you should try here is the Loboc River Cruise.
On this cruise, you'll enjoy a Filipino lunch buffet, local dancing, and a view of the jungle, making you feel like you've entered another world.

The lunch buffet offers traditional Filipino cuisine, and tourists will be pleased to be able to try a variety of dishes in small portions.

During the cruise, local people start dancing. There are many different kinds of dances, but the bamboo dance is the highlight. Just watching the rhythmic bamboo movements and steps is enjoyable.
Once you've had a good look at the performance, you'll be asked, "Would you like to dance with us?" This may be a bit of a hurdle for shy people, but we encourage you to throw away your embarrassment and give it a try.

The tarsier is the smallest tarsier in the world. It is palm-sized and has a cute appearance with round eyes. It is weak to stress and spends its time in places where people can't see it, so it often lives in the tops of trees.
At the Philippine Tarsier Nature Reserve, there are no cages or fences, and the tarsier lives in a natural environment. The staff will tell you where they are, so you can easily find them even though they are small.

Chocolate Hills is a spectacular spot where you can enjoy the mysterious scenery of a row of cone-shaped mountains. From the observation deck at the top of a long staircase, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Chocolate Hills. This unique topography can only be seen here.
The name "Chocolate Hills" comes from the fact that the mountains turn from green to brown as the dry season changes, resembling chocolate.
In fact, the cause of the formation of the Chocolate Hills is unknown and is still under research. It is said that there are more than 1,000 such mountains on Bohol Island.
