9:30 World Cultural Heritage Sites: Hidden Christian Sites in Nagasaki and the Amakusa Region: "Shitsu Village in Sotome" and "Oono Village in Sotome"
The "Hidden Christian Sites in Nagasaki and Amakusa" are evidence of the unique cultural traditions of the hidden Christians of Nagasaki and the Amakusa region, who continued to practice their faith in secret even during the period when Christianity was banned. We will visit two of the sites that make up the site. The "Shitsu Village in Sotome," where Christians continued to practice their faith by secretly worshipping holy images, and the "Oono Village in Sotome," where Christians continued to practice their faith while disguising themselves as Shintoists. We hope you will take a stroll around the area while thinking about this page of history.
The ocean below (Sumo Nada) is also beautiful, and if the weather is good you can even see the Goto Islands, making this a great driving course.

13:00 Meganebashi Bridge - Oura Cathedral and Glover Garden
The must-see spots for taking great photos are the classic Meganebashi Bridge, Oura Cathedral, and Glover Garden. Even if you live in Nagasaki, you'll find yourself pointing your camera at these spots. We recommend parking your car around Dejima and taking a tram ride around the area.
Both are indispensable structures when talking about the history of Nagasaki. Of these, Oura Cathedral is a component part of the "Hidden Christian Sites in the Nagasaki Region," and the Former Glover House is a component part of the "Sites of Japan's Meiji Industrial Revolution," making them interesting World Heritage sites.
Searching for the "heart stones" hidden under Megane Bridge and Glover Garden is also very popular. Finding one may bring you happiness!
